If you go to You Tube and search Hiram Gutierrez, He is transmission specialist that uses Autel MaxiSys Pro. Maybe watch videos and post a comment with a question ?

reprogramming/reflashing, blank programming, is not something you can accomplish with the maxisys nor any other aftermarket tool for that matter. besides the c3+, OM tool, you need to use the maxi flash pro or any other j2534 available to you,  an on line subscription and a  pc software called Ners , which you have to purchase from Nissan or another source , a one time $270 usd  or download from the web somewhere, google it. the first step is to read the tcm part number with your maxisys or maxidas scantool by going to transmission and module id or identification, may have other names. its a combination of 2 set of 5  digit number and letters. go here  https://www.nissan-techinfo.com/J2534.aspx , register, chose reprogramming from the list, you will be prompted to enter the first 5 digit tcm part number then the second 5 digit part number on the second screen, then they can either give you one calibration file or multiple ones, you have to chose the right one, after that is time to pay 19.95 for one single module and for one single day. when done paying go to your account and you will find your download, there will be a few files in it and a pfd with all instructions. since this is a reprogramming file and not a blank programming file, you will find an exe app, double click on it and it will automatically go to the right directory. now assuming you have already installed Ners and configured your j2534.now open it and choose the calibration file with the correct part number you downloaded and make sure to use the option reprogramming and not programming. follow all prompted instructions and you will be ok. it takes a while about 20 minutes for reprogramming and about 2 hours for blank programming. make sure to get Ners version 03.06.00 or above. before you start programming/flashing, re-programming/re-flashing make sure to turn everything off but specially unplug the cooling fans, them suckers will run at full speed and drain your battery really fast and of course hook up a battery charger  specially if doing a blank programming. if doing a blank programming there will not be such exe app and you have to put this files in the right directory which is in 2 different places but lucky for us all instructions are in the pdf file with in.  the maxiflash pro works excellent on Nissan/ infinity vehicles by the way. good luck.

I was reading witsend and his very unhelpful replies thinking what an a@@ but then I read The last post and I understand why he is this way. Spikeoo7 ook the time to write a very detailed answer to your original  question and you don't even bother to read it. If you aren't willing to read the response, why ask the question?

yes the maxisys pro is the scanner's name , your j2534 is called maxi flash pro or elite depending , so yes we are talking about the same passthru/j2534 device. my answer applies to your question.

First I did read the answer but the maxi comes in different systems, from just a code
reader to the maxisys pro passthru and I wanted the person to have all the information
to make sure the answer he gave me was on point so to you I say next time you need
to put your two cents in read my response fully. Thank you
